Madison, Wis. — The Midwest Food Products Association (MWFPA) unveiled its new logo and refreshed branding on Monday that modernizes the Association’s visual identity and better represents the diverse food manufacturers it serves across the region.

Founded in 1905 to support Wisconsin vegetable processors, MWFPA has grown into a multi‑state organization representing food manufacturers throughout the Midwest, including companies that process and pack vegetables, fruits, beans, meat, pickles, sauerkraut, frozen foods, snacks, sauces, prepared meals, and many other packaged food products. The updated branding better reflects the Association’s identity as the voice and resource for the region’s food manufacturing industry.

The new logo incorporates blue, green, and yellow to symbolize water, land, and the sun – natural resources essential to agricultural production and the food manufacturing supply chain. The rising sun, designed to resemble a gear, highlights the manufacturers who are at the core of the Association’s membership, while the green field and blue sky represent the close, ongoing partnership between food processors and the farmers and growers who supply them.

“This new identity speaks more clearly to who we are today and where the food manufacturing industry is headed,” said Nick Novak, president of the Midwest Food Products Association. “It captures the connection between the land, our grower partners, and the modern production facilities that transform those raw ingredients into safe, nutritious and affordable foods enjoyed by families every day.”

The refreshed logo replaces branding that primarily reflected the Association’s historical background as a merger of three state‑based vegetable processing groups in Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin. In contrast, the new design emphasizes the diversity of products, companies, and expertise represented within MWFPA’s current and future membership.

The new logo debuted alongside a refreshed website at www.mwfpa.org and will be rolled out across the Association’s other communications platforms, creating a consistent and contemporary look that aligns with MWFPA’s mission and growth.

Together, the updated branding elements present a unified visual representation of the natural resources, manufacturing strength, and forward‑looking collaboration that define the Midwest Food Products Association and its members.
