About MWFPA
Founded in 1905, the Midwest Food Products Association (MWFPA) is the premier voice and resource for the region’s food manufacturing industry, primarily serving businesses in Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. The Association supports companies that produce, process, and package products ranging from vegetables and meat to frozen foods and snacks. Simply put, our members make the food that feeds millions of people in the Midwest, across the nation, and around the globe.
At its core, the Association is dedicated to advocacy. MWFPA works directly with policymakers and regulators to ensure our members’ voices are heard on critical issues such as food labeling and regulation, environmental policy, energy cost and reliability, and workforce rules and standards.
In addition, the Association offers high‑quality educational programming on topics including food safety, workplace safety, and leadership development. MWFPA also brings members together through networking events and signature programs, including its Annual Convention, which features nearly 150 exhibitors, educational breakout sessions, and industry‑leading speakers. Together, the Association helps companies build relationships, strengthen operations, and create a stronger future for the food manufacturing industry.
