CONDENSING
HEAT RECOVERY
MWFPA in cooperation with Kinergetics
LLC and Cleantech Partners, Inc., developed a training CD the provides
an introduction to condensing heat recovery technology as applied to
industrial boilers. The development of the primer was prompted by a
number of questions received from the industry concerning the viability
of the technology to reduce the cost of producing steam and/or hot
water. The CD is free to MWFPA members and $20 for non-members.
MWFPA Members, please call MWFPA at 608.255.9946 to order your free CD
or email us at info@mwfpa.org and
provide all of your mailing information.
Nonmembers who would like to purchase the CD please click the link below

Message from Vicki Escarra
President & CEO, America’s Second Harvest—The Nation’s
Food Bank Network
President Bush recently signed the Pension Protection
Act of 2006 (Public Law 109-280), which includes an
extension of the special enhanced tax deduction for
charitable food donations to all business taxpayers and
represents a milestone in the fight against hunger in
America. All business taxpayers—including farmers,
ranchers, restaurateurs and small business owners—can
reap the same enhanced tax deduction as C corporations
for in-kind food donations. The deduction, equal to the
basis plus ½ the fair market value appreciation, not to
exceed twice the cost, will provide an estimated $250
million worth of new meals for hungry Americans over a
24-month period.
With
more than 38 million Americans, including nearly 14
million children, living on the brink of hunger,
America’s Second Harvest—The Nation’s Food Bank Network
of more than 200 food banks and food-rescue
organizations needs more meals to feed hungry
Americans.
This
update serves as a resource for you to learn how your
company can benefit from the new enhanced tax
deduction.
Please take a moment to read the information and let our
team know if you have any questions.
Thank
you for being a part of the solution to end hunger in
America. |
